There were many hours of work exchanged on the actual pictures. At the college we did both painting and drawing of nude sitter. Strangely, we had no shame about looking at the undressed person for hours. As one student said: ‘It’s not a human being in front of you but a fascinating pot with bones, muscles and skin.’ I have to confirm this, while academic study there is so little personal attitude to the sitter in front of you, the main focus transfers to the basic ideas of anatomy, light and shadow rather that the personality. However, there is a great beauty of nudity, the harmony of human body. The main academical hardship is to convey this greatness to the canvas or paper. I liked the process of study as it urges curiosity every time you do it.
